BILLIE LOURD Served As Body Double For Mother CARRIE FISHER In 'The Rise Of Skywalker'
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker marks the farewell of the late, great Carrie Fisher as Princess/General Leia Organa.
The actress was able to film several scenes before her 2016 passing which were used in Episodes VIII and IX respectively. In The Rise of Skywalker's jedi training flashback scene, director JJ Abrams and company made use of CGI magic on a young Leia. The body double they used during the filming? No other than her daughter Billie Lourd.

It isn't the first time the Scream Queens and American Horror Story star appeared in the Skywalker saga. She was part of 2015's The Force Awakens and 2017's The Last Jedi as Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix and even shared scenes with her mom.
