While some may have been introduced to Billie Eilish through her debut single "ocean eyes" on SoundCloud, others became more familiar with the young hitmaker thanks to her haunting collaborative single "lovely" with Khalid.

Since then, however, Billie has not worked on new music with anyone other than her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas O'Connell. In a recent interview with SPIN, she revealed that she doesn't like "working with other people" with the exception of three or four unnamed artists.

She added, "I get really in my head and weird. I don’t like mixing friendships with music for some reason. I don’t even play songs for my friends until they’re fully done. I don’t like people watching me work... And I’m doing pretty well on my own, so I’m ok."

For the meantime, I guess it's better that we let go of our hopes of a Billie Eilish track with Justin Bieber, BTS, Ariana Grande, Avril Lavigne, or even Shawn Mendes. Maybe next time, though.
