Here's Why CHANCE THE RAPPER Cancelled ‘The Big Tour’

Chance the Rapper has canceled his upcoming The Big Tour. The Chicago-born rapper announced his decision in an Instagram post, explaining "I know it sucks and [it's] been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best."

The arena tour was originally scheduled to begin in September, but had to be pushed back to January 2020 so the Grammy award-winning artist could spend more time with his growing family. The hitmaker cited the same reason for postponing the trek yet again, saying "I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date."

"I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert," he told fans. "Thank you all for an amazing year, and a huge thanks to my team and family for being so strong through this whole year."

And if there's anything we've learned in the past, it's that everything will come at a perfect time. Case in point: Chano's debut album The Big Day. So rest assured that we're not sweating this one out. Rather, we're holding on to Chano's promise "to come back much stronger and better in 2020." Check out his entire post below.
