IU was worth the wait! That's all we can say after witnessing her first ever show in Manila and we're sure she's feeling the same, thanks to the Ma-aenas - her loudest crowd so far! Didn't we warn you, kween?
The Pinoy fans didn't take it easy on the K-Pop superstar, cheering and screaming her name all through out. "Today feels like a festival," IU said. "Ever since I debuted, it's the first time I can't hear my voice. I lost to you, guys."

How they were able to sing along to all her Korean songs also surprised IU. "I know people in the Philippines are good in singing (and) it's true. Ang galing niyo," the songstress said. "I actually thought that the city of passion is Busan... Today the ranking really changed. This is not something that I'm just saying. No one can beat Manila!"
Besides her prepared Love, Poem Tour setlist, IU treated fans to a special cover of "Say You Love Me" (popularized by Patti Austin and MYMP) and an encore where she sang fan favorites "Someday", "Rain Drop", and "Ending Scene".
"If only I know there are people who love me here in the Philippines, I should have come here earlier. Next time I will make it more than one day," she promised. "Babalik ako para makita kayo ulit."
Thank you, IU. Maghihintay kami! Check out photos from the show in the gallery above.
