Things are looking up for the music label formerly known as Careless Music Manila. Now rebranded as "Careless," the record company co-founded by James Reid has gone indie—and great things are in store for 2020.

Last December 10, James formally introduced the first wave of artists officially signed to the record label—AstroKidd, Massiah, Curtismith, Bret Jackson aka KINGwAw, and most notably, girlfriend Nadine Lustre who was previously under Viva Records since her Pop Girls days.

The label mostly caters to rap, hip-hop and R&B listeners but James and co-founder Bret said the door is always open for them to branch out and explore other genres. But for now, they be sticking with what they're familiar with.

Between his acting gigs and music career, we all know that James has a pretty hectic schedule but he sees to it that he's involved in the day-to-day operations of the label. Even his boo Nadine said James is "super hands-on" with his passion project. The MYX Music Awards 2019 big winner said: "He's super hands-on like he goes to all the meetings. Kapag mga collaborations, like for brands, everything. Talagang ito yung pinagbubuhusan niya ng time and effort niya lately."

President Nadz also revealed that she's starting to write her own material and we can expect new music from her next year. We all better watch out for that!
