American singer-songwriter Sam Tsui came back to Manila for the third time and he threw one amazing party!

Sam's musical career got launched to the stratosphere, thanks to his YouTube covers. Eventually, he found the confidence to put out his original material but it wasn't an easy task. "Putting out the first original was definitely scary. I was like, are people going to be like 'Ah, we don't want this! We just want the covers!' and the positive reaction we got for that first original really sorta set the tone."

And even though he's released a lot of original tracks over the years, Sam still finds the time to make covers. In fact, he recently made his Tagalog singing debut and put his own spin to Sponge Cola's "Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay" and if you haven't heard it yet, you're missing out!

The "Gold Jacket" singer recruited Sponge Cola frontman Yael Yuzon's wife Karylle and their collab blew us away! He gives all the credit to the It's Showtime host who taught him the proper way of singing in Tagalog and we gotta say, it's amazing how Sam was able to master the language in just a short time. We totally approve!
