Once again, Mayonnaise proved their relevance to OPM aficionados with their very successful 17th anniversary show at the Skydome! It's their biggest anniversary show to date as the Mayonation continues to grow even after 17 years in the music scene.

Days before the big event, the veteran band shared about their preparations in the MYXclusive interview below:

Fellow Yellow Room PH acts This Band and I Belong To The Zoo served their #mapanakit hits before the night's headliners took the stage.

Mayonation remained energetic the entire evening as their idols tore through fan-favorites from their almost two-decade discography. Mayonnaise also offered some deeper cuts that the die-hard fans loved hearing live like “Porta”, “Kung Di Rin Ikaw”, and “Eddie Song”. Furthermore, lead vocalist and guitarist Monty Macalino performed an acoustic version of “Sana Kung” and "Pink White Blue”.

The band also played a brand new song for the first time! We're curious if it's the track inspired by Anne Curtis.

Just like in their sold-out 2017 anniversary show at Social House, Sharlene San Pedro was also a special guest. The former MYX VJ performed “Silid” and “Stars and Caramel Bars” along with the five-piece rock act.

Mayonnaise showed no signs of slowing down during their 17th anniversary show and we hope that they'll continue to bring more rock and roll fun in the future! Check out MYXclusive photos from the event in the gallery above!

What's next for the "Tayo Na Lang Dalawa" hitmakers? Another studio album is currently in the works and the Gusto Ko Lang Mag Tour is still ongoing. They will also perform at 1MX Manila 2019 this November 22 so get your tickets now!
