During her recent guesting on the MYX studio, young singer-songwriter Lara Maigue opened up about hoping to write a song for Sharon Cuneta! She recalled how flattered she was when Ate Shawie remembered her name and her song "Kung Pwede Lang Naman" during the Megastar's recent guesting on Gandang Gabi Vice with Regine Velasquez.

"I actually never thought that the Megastar remembered me. Because I sang in her show before and ever since then she called me 'Lara my favorite songwriter'. That was 2013 so I wouldn't think she would remember me through that song. But when they were asked in GGV kung ano yung song na hindi nila kinanta ever together ever pero gusto nila kantahin live, si Megastar ang nag-suggest na yung 'kanta ni Lara', 'di n'ya nakalimutan yung pangalan. So that was really big for me and I really hope I get to write a song for her in the future," she told VJ Ai.

Moreover, Lara sincerely shared a warm message to the showbiz icon in case she's watching. "Ms. Sharon Megastar, ahm, I would love to see you again and would to write something for you for your next album or for your next single and I really hope to sing with you in the future. Kilig lang talaga," she said in the entire MYXclusive interview below!

Lara's self-titled debut album is now out in digital platforms.
