TAYLOR SWIFT Says PETE WENTZ And LANA DEL REY Are Her Favorite Lyricists
Taylor Swift dropped by Apple Music’s Beats 1 with Zane Lowe and shared about attending the "most emo dinner party" at Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie’s house.
Seated next to her "Me!" collaborator was Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy who she considers as one of her influences. “I show up and it’s like, Brendon and Pete Wentz sitting next to each other and I just got to ask them every single question," she told Zane during the interview.
“Pete Wentz is probably… if I had to pick a favorite lyricist, it’d be a tie between him and Lana Del Rey,” Taylor shared. In fact, one of her biggest hits was inspired by FOB. “‘Blank Space’ is a song that’s just zingers, one after another after another, which I definitely learned from listening to Fall Out Boy,” she added.
We talked emo bands, favorite lyricists (hey @petewentz & @LanaDelRey), zingers, and soooo much more. Full interview with @zanelowe is live on @Beats1 @AppleMusic! 💕 https://t.co/iUYnqqsfum pic.twitter.com/thzhTnRZcS— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) October 30, 2019
