‘Tom & Jerry’ Live-Action Adaptation Moves Up Release Date To December 2020

The live-action Tom and Jerry movie has relocated to a new date! The popular cat and mouse story was initially tipped for release on April 16, 2021 before being moved up to December 23, 2020.

The animated hybrid remake will star Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Ken Jeong, and more. It will center on the titular characters "getting kicked out of their home and relocating to a fancy New York hotel where Moretz’s character is an employee who will lose her job if she can’t evict Jerry."

As previously reported, Warner Bros Animation Group is also developing a Scooby-Doo feature film titled Scoob. Frank Welker will reprise the voice of Scooby while Will Forte is Shaggy, Zac Efron is Fred, Amanda Seyfried is Daphne, Gina Rodriguez is Velma, and Tracy Morgan is Captain Caveman.
