Per Billboard, former band members William Ryan Key, Peter Michael Mosely, Sean Michael Wellman-Mackin, and Longineu Warren Parsons filed a complaint on October 21 in the U.S. District Court in California, accusing the emo rapper and his collaborators of copying "melodic elements" from their song. Moreover, Yellowcard is seeking $15 million in damages as well as running royalty and/or ownership share on "Lucid Dreams."
