BRIE LARSON Says The 'Women Of Marvel' Are All For An All-Female Avengers Film
Avengers: Endgame was home to some of the most epic moments in Marvel Cinematic Universe history and one sequence that truly stands out amongst fans is the brief team up featuring the badass women of Marvel during the grueling final showdown with Thanos.
The short tease which saw the likes of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Rescue (Gwyneth Paltrow), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) all coming together in unison was every fan boy's dream come true. It was so well-received, in fact that a lot of people couldn't help but entertain the thought of an all-female Avengers film.
Now, Larson has revealed during an interview with Variety that she and most of the actresses have pitched the idea of a potential 'A-Force' film to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The Captain Marvel star said: "I will say that a lot of the female cast members from Marvel walked up to Kevin and we were like, ‘We are in this together, we want to do this’."
She continued by saying that they're all passionate about it but at the end of the day, it's still up to the fans whether the film will push through or not. "What that means, I have no idea. You know, I’m not in charge of the future of Marvel, but it is something that we’re really passionate about and we love and I feel like if enough people out in the world talk about how much they want it, maybe it’ll happen."
