Brand New Eyes, the third full-length studio album of Paramore, is now ten years old. Fans used the hashtag #10YearsOfBrandNewEyes on Twitter to celebrate the band's 2009 release which is still a kickass record in 2019!

To join the anniversary celebration, we got our shovel and unearthed some cool facts about Brand New Eyes which you can check out below:

-Paramore faced some internal issues after the Riot album cycle and breakup rumors even surfaced online. Thankfully, they decided to keep going and write a brand new record - but it would be the last to feature the original five members.

-Brand New Eyes was produced by Rob Cavallo. They started recording at the end of March 2009 in Calabasas, California and finished production by May 2009.

-The band released five singles from the album: "Ignorance", "Brick By Boring Brick", "The Only Exception", "Careful", and "Playing God'.

-"Ignorance" reached the #3 spot on the MYX International Top 20 while "Brick By Boring Brick" and "The Only Exception" both peaked at #4.

-You'll see lead vocalist Hayley Williams rocking different hairstyles and hair colors in each music video.

-In the official music video of "Careful", you'll see footage taken by the band during their visit in Manila!

-The album debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The butterfly on the artwork was Hailey's idea and inspired the line "the angles were all wrong now / she's ripping wings off of butterflies" from "Brick By Boring Brick".

-The deluxe version featured acoustic versions of "Ignorance" and "Where The Lines Overlap"
