PAUL MCCARTNEY Reveals He Still Dreams About JOHN LENNON
Avid Beatles fans know very well how tight the bond is among rock 'n' roll's Fab Four but no bond could be deeper and greater than that of Paul McCartney and John Lennon who are often regarded as the best songwriting duo in music.
In an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his picture book Hey Grandude, Sir Paul revealed that he still dreams of the late Beatles frontman, almost 40 years after his tragic passing.
After Colbert took out a photo of John, the music legend took a little trip down memory lane and explained what exactly went down after their highly publicized split, revealing that while most fans think their friendship had gone sour, it didn't go south after all. "And I kind of bought into it. Because when you’re called [the villain] for long enough, you start to believe it."
"I dream about him. When you’ve had a relationship like that for so long, such a deep relationship… I love when people revisit you in your dreams." He added, "I often have band dreams, and I’m often with John [in them]… I have a lot of dreams about John, and they’re always good."
