ROBERT DOWNEY JR. Could Make His Way Back Into The MCU
At this point, we can already talk about Iron Man's heroic death in Avengers: Endgame and how it affects the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We all know Spider-Man was poised to be the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' next chief but now that he's possibly out of the MCU for good, who exactly will continue Mr. Stark's legacy?
A new report from We Got This Covered says that Marvel Studios is developing an Ironheart series for Disney+. For those who don't follow the comics, Ironheart is a young girl named Riri Williams who took over from Tony when he was in coma.
The report also claims that the series could potentially see Robert Downey Jr.'s triumphant return to the MCU. How, you ask? RDJ is said to voice a JARVIS-like AI which will help Ironheart in her journey. Interesting. Would you like to see Mr. Stark return to the franchise?
The real story here is that @RobertDowneyJr said publicly in a room full of people that #Ironheart should be in the MCU. I went straight back to the press area afterward and was like YOU ALL HEARD IT, WRITE THAT DOWN https://t.co/WoursjnRdW— wikipedia brown ||| abolish ICE. (@eveewing) June 16, 2019
