Lea Salonga has lent her voice to the official hymn of the 30th Southeast Asian Games which will be held in the Philippines. Composed by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab and written by Floy Quintos, the song "We Win As One" and its accompanying visuals were formally launched last September 3.

"Ika nga, you have to be mortal enemies on the court, but best friends off [of it]," Lea explained the song's message. "Thinking of that and how it ties into the song, it’s like, 'Yes, all of us are united off the court representing this entire region.' There is unity and a recognition between the athletes and the organizers of each country that we are unified in representing our sports and this [regional] event."

The Philippines will host the 2019 SEA Games from November 30 to December 11. In 2005, Mr. C composed the entire soundtrack for the 23rd SEA Games—the last time the country hosted the event.
