Five months came and went without new music from Louis Tomlinson, but the British singer-songwriter promised fans that "some new songs" are scheduled to make their way into our favorite playlists by next month.

The One Direction member took to Twitter to express his excitement over his upcoming performance in Spain next month. "Madrid is gonna be MASSIVE! Can’t fucking wait now!" he wrote, announcing the bloody good news. "Also gonna be playing some new songs at Madrid!"

Since 1D announced their hiatus in 2015, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter has successfully launched a promising solo career with hit singles and collabs. His most recent was "Two Of Us"—an ode to his late mother—which landed online in March. Louis and Liam Payne are the two remaining members who have yet to release a full-length solo album.
