Actor Ruru Madrid just released his first solo single under GMA Music titled "Nawawala" and he's ready to make music a full-time priority.

This may come as a surprise to some as we're used to seeing him showing off his acting chops on TV and film, but Ruru reveals music is actually his first love since he comes from a family with a background in music.

"Nawawala" is a hugot track that talks about a love that wasn't meant to be, no matter how much you want it to be yours. It's about two people who've blossomed into romance but ultimately grew apart. Stream it below:

Although Ruru wasn't involved in the songwriting process of his debut solo single, he revealed that he has written quite a few songs which he'll release in the future under his debut album.

And with the unprecedented success of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards' teamup film Hello, Love, Goodbye, we couldn't help but ask Ruru which Kapamilya actress he'd like to work with in the future given the opportunity. Bea Alonzo first came to his mind, revealing that he's a huge fan of the Eerie actress. He also wants to be paired up with Liza Soberano. #LizRu, anyone? "Sobrang gusto ko rin siya maka-work. I mean, hindi lang siya maganda, e. Sobrang talented din niya, magaling din siya umarte so hopefully someday."

Ruru also shared that he's always dreamed of becoming a MYX VJ. Wow! We'd be glad to have you on board as a future MYX Celebrity VJ, Ruru! Let's make that happen!
