The First ‘Little Women’ Trailer Is A Beautiful Disaster
Is it just me or did Timothée Chalamet in the first Little Women trailer just convince an entire population of young women to come watch the coming-of-age film despite not having once touched the book or seen any of the previous adaptations prior to today?

And this rugged-looking Timothée? A masterpiece.

The nearly 3-minute clip which dropped today also gave us our first look at Timothée's character Laurie and his mad love for Saoirse Ronan's Jo March. Don't get confused, though. The 19th century tale actually revolves around Jo and her sisters' attempt to break free from gender stereotypes.
The core cast consists of Emma Watson (Meg), Florence Pugh (Amy), Eliza Scanlen (Beth), Laura Dern (Marmee), and Meryl Streep (Aunt March). Directed by Greta Gerwig, Little Women arrives in US theaters on December 25.
