BEYONCE's Father Thinks DESTINY'S CHILD Reunion Will Happen In 2-3 Years
With the massive success of the Spice Girls' reunion tour, online rumors suggested that we're so close to witnessing the reformation of Destiny's Child – Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams – which we've all been dying to see.
The group's former manager and Beyonce's dad Mathew Knowles thinks it will happen in three years' time. In an interview with Metro, Knowles said: "I certainly hope they do. It would be wonderful, wouldn’t it? But you know, things like that require years of preparation and timing. Most people don’t know how touring works and how the industry works," he explained.
"It takes years to put together a tour, get the band together, get the dancers together, then decide which size venues you’re going to have, start rehearsals, and it would probably be a world tour… it would take two to three years, even if the answer was yes today."
Since officially parting ways in 2006, our "Independent Women" have been supportive of each other's solo ventures. The last time we saw them share the stage together was during Beyonce's explosive Coachella set last year.
