U2 Will Rock The Philippines For The First Time This December!
U2 is coming to the Philippines for the first time ever on December 11 for The Joshua Tree Tour and oh, it's the sweetest thing!
The said tour started in 2017 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of U2’s classic 1987 album of the same name, playing all of the songs from it live such as their global hits "With Or Without You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."
The Grammy Award-winning Irish rock band officially announced the great news on their social media pages, showing a clip of the UNESCO world heritage site Banaue Rice Terraces, incorporated with a Joshua tree.
On their official website, U2 frontman Bono posted a handwritten message to Manila announcing the date of their Joshua Tree Tour stop, set to happen at the Philippne Arena: "Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry coming to rock you hard and soft."
Ticket pre-sale is on September 1 to 3, exclusively for U2.com subscribers. For non-subscribers, mark September 5 on your calendars for the public on-sale of tickets at 10AM. Prices range from P2,499 to P20,499.
