LANY Assures Fans Over History-Making 3-Night Concert In Manila: "We're Built For This"
LANY is back in the Philippines once again for the Manila leg of their Malibu Nights tour which is comprised of three sold-out shows at the Mall of Asia Arena!
The American indie pop band is the first international artist to headline three consecutive nights at the huge venue and the trio of Jake Goss, Les Priest and Paul Klein celebrated their history-making feat during their first concert last July 23.
"We're the luckiest band in the world to have you, the best fans in the world," declared charismatic frontman Paul.
MYX VJ Samm caught up with LANY a day after the kickoff leg which they described as "pretty close to perfect".
The July 23 leg was actually the last date added to the tour after the July 24 and July 25 shows were quickly sold out last February. "It was amazing to sell out both nights and we're like 'There seems to be a lot of people still wanting tickets. Should we try to do a third night?'" the "ILYSB" hitmakers recalled.
But concerned fans need not worry about their idols. "I think at this point, we've kinda come into a rhythm. There's a little bit of momentum. I don't think we're gonna be too tired or anything like that. I think we were kinda built for this," Paul assured concertgoers.
Watch out for more of VJ Samm's MYXclusive interview with LANY including Paul's thoughts about meeting KPop girl group Blackpink and being shipped with member Rosé who's also a fan of the band.
