NATALIE PORTMAN Will Play Female Thor In 'Thor: Love and Thunder'
It's truly nerdgasm overload as tons of exciting announcements are being made right now about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Just in: the fourth movie of the "Strongest Avenger" will be called Thor: Love And Thunder with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi at the helm once again!
Just announced in Hall H at #SDCC, Marvel Studios’ THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER with Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman. Taika Waititi returns as director. In theaters November 5, 2021. pic.twitter.com/7RRkOYWTQM— Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) July 21, 2019
What makes it really exciting is the fact that this upcoming film will pull directly from Jason Aaron’s The Mighty Thor run in the comics which introduced readers to a female Thor. Fans present at the Comic Con panel were lucky enough to get a "teaser" of this Female Thor as Jane Foster herself - Natalie Portman - walked on stage wielding the Mjolnir!

She looks truly worthy, doesn't she? We can't wait for this movie to drop in 2021!
