Director TAIKA WAITITI Will Return For 'Thor 4'
Without a doubt, Taika Waititi reinvigorated the Thor film franchise, putting his own fun and unique spin to 2017's Thor: Ragnarok. And now, it comes as no surprise that he's been tasked to helm the fourth installment which also marks the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first quadrilogy.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news, saying Taika's involvement in the Marvel film would affect his upcoming 'Akira' project which he'll have to put on hold for the meantime. His return to the franchise would also mean he'll be reprising his role as Korg, Thor's trusty ally.
The film's main star Chris Hemsworth has expressed his desire in the past to continue playing the character for as long as Marvel Studios would allow him and we guess the Gods above heard his plea. Aside from 'Thor 4', the God of Thunder is also rumored to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which will be written and directed by the reinstated James Gunn.
