BRENDON URIE Wants To Team Up With GREEN DAY
Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie has expressed his interest to do a collaboration project with punk rock trio Green Day who will reportedly debut a new track this week.
During a recent live sesh with fans, Brendon responded to a follower when asked about the possibility of working with the "Wake Me Up When September Ends" hitmakers.
The "ME!" collaborator said he's already met Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool. "I had the opportunity to meet him and the rest of the band – that was kinda crazy." Adding, “I mean, Mike Dirnt is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met – as well as Tré. They’re all so kind. And this was at a party where hundreds – maybe even thousands – of people were in that room. It was just intense. And they’re so personable, and very, very nice."

He went on to share that the boys were a huge influence to him. "And I would love to do music with them, because they’re just so f*cking talented, and they had everything to do with me getting into punk rock." Check out the clip here:

Going back to Green Day's upcoming release, it will be their first since 2017's "Back in the USA". And while no official announcement has been made by the members themselves, Billie Joe revealed last December that he's writing new material for the band.
