SAM MANGUBAT, MARIS RACAL, AC BONIFACIO & More Headline Tree Planting Gig At La Mesa Ecopark
In case you need any more proof of the hazards of climate change, you need not look further than Metro Manila. Constant flooding is just one, if not the major environmental issue affecting people in the area. And with only two major green spaces left—the La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City, and the protected Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area, ABS-CBN music portal One Music PH, in partnership with Bantay Kalikasan, has come up with a tree planting gig at the La Mesa Ecopark on July 27 to raise awareness on climate change and encourage the youth to protect Metro Manila's last remaining forest.
One Paradise Puno ng Musika is set to bring together Acel, AC Bonifacio, Maris Racal, Sam Mangubat, JMKO, RJ Agustin, Davey Langit, Puerto Galera-based band Hulo, and Trisha Denise for the one-day affair.
"We are grateful to One Music. We are grateful to you, the artists, because if we're the only ones who speak the advocacy, and we don't have you as mouthpieces, our message will fall flat, or our message will ring differently," said Bantay Kalikasan Program Director Jen Santos. "But having you, of different ages, of different genres, of different talents and creative influences... Seeing the same message that we speak of, I think we'll be able to reach more."
So if you want to be part of this upcoming environmental movement, head on over to ktx.abs-cbn.com and purchase your One Paradise Puno ng Musika tickets for only Php 650. Each ticketholder will receive a shirt and have one tree planted under his/her name. See you there!
