Tony Award-winning musical The Prom will soon be getting a Netflix film treatment!

Directed and produced by Ryan Murphy aka the guy behind hit TV shows Glee, Pose and American Horror Story, The Prom will assemble a who's who of Hollywood A-listers including Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, James Corden and Awkwafina among others.

Pop sensation Ariana Grande was also set to star in the film but had to back out due to scheduling conflicts with her tour. No word yet as to who will replace the "Thank U, Next" artist.
