BOYZONE Says 'Thank You & Goodnight' (Again) To Filipino Fans
Boyzone took us on one final trip down memory lane during their Thank You & Goodnight concert at the MOA Arena! The Irish boyband - who became popular in the 1990s - performed their greatest hits supposedly for the last time and the lads couldn’t stop thanking their Filipino fans throughout the night.
Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating and Keith Duffy were all smiles in their matching colorful stage outfits, performing their unforgettable songs and doing impressive harmonies.
“Hey, Manila. It’s good to be back. One last time is being said. A word that you’re gonna hear a lot tonight is ‘thank you’ because yes the album is called ‘Thank You & Goodnight’ but we are very grateful for the last 26 years, the opportunity that you have all given us,” Ronan Keating shared to Filipino fans.
As in their previous concerts here, they took a moment to remember former member Stephen Gately who died in 2009. We saw touching clips of the late singer as they performed “Dream” from Stephen's 2002 solo album.
The remaining foursome also performed “Talk About Live” off their latest album Thank You & Goodnight which has an electronic dance vibe. Of course, they brought out crowd favorites “Love Me for a Reason”, “Father and Son” and “No Matter What”.
For their encore set, the boys performed Ronan’s solo single “Life Is A Rollercoaster” and the Bean movie theme “Picture Of You”.
The group did a final bow and thanked everyone for supporting them for 26 years. Your Filipino fans loved you for so long for a reason, guys! Thank you for the music.
