SOPHIE TURNER Would Love To Play BOY GEORGE In Upcoming Biopic
Fans have long noticed the uncanny resemblance between X-Men: Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner and Culture Club singer Boy George. And now, the 80s pop icon said he'd want to see Sophie portray his colorful life in his biopic which is currently under development.
Mrs. Jonas herself loves the idea and said she'd be down to exploring The Voice Australia coach's extraordinary life.
However, the "Karma Chameleon" hitmaker said in an interview that while he sees the Game of Thrones actress as a potential "candidate" in the upcoming biopic, the idea may be a little too far-fetched and might cause controversy. "It’s really strange, but that’s been a suggestion [I think] that will upset people, which I quite like.“ [People will say]: ‘Oh she can’t play you, she’s a woman!’" George told the Fitzy and Wippa show.
So - went to see #darkphoenix last night. A good wheeze but I found Jean Grey’s looks distracting. And not for the reasons you might think...— Rob Cottingham (@RobCottingham1) June 10, 2019
