Rev Up Your Engines! JOHN CENA Officially Joins 'Fast & Furious 9'
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's time in the Fast & Furious franchise may be up but John Cena's time is now. The WWE megastar is officially in for the ninth installment of the successful film series which began in 2001.
Cena, who previously worked on Bumblebee, will be joining Vin Diesel and the rest of the cast with cameras expected to start rolling real soon. The film will also mark director Justin Lin's return to the series.
Diesel took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news and welcome Cena aboard. Buckle up, movie fans!
The 16-time WWE champ apparently already teased his arrival to the franchise, posting an image of a race car on his Instagram (which is famous by the way for posts that have zero context to them) and nobody got a single clue!
Johnson will not be part of the film and instead worked on the F&F spinoff Hobbs and Shaw with another WWE star Roman Reigns who makes his film debut.
