Sen. CHIZ Reacts To MYX Throwback Video Of VJ HEART
It's been 17 years since the first broadcast of the 24-hour MYX channel we all know and love!
In case you didn't know, MYX was launched in 2000 as a music block on the now-defunct UHF channel Studio 23 before merging with the VID-OK channel on SKYCable. The stand-alone 24-hour MYX began airing on June 3, 2002 and soon became the #1 music channel in the Philippines.
To commemorate the 17th anniversary of the "new" MYX, channel head Andre Allan Alvarez shared the promotional video introducing the new batch of VJs which included Ala Paredes, Franco Mabanta, Michi Valeriano, and Heart Evangelista.

VJ Heart - whose name and face became synonymous with MYX back then - reacted to the video on Twitter. "Oh wow! I love you guys! Always and forever," the style icon wrote.

The throwback clip featuring a 17-year old Heart also caught the attention of her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero! "Hahaha... @heart021485 ang kyut mo naman dito!!!! :):):)" tweeted Sen. Chiz who was recently elected as the governor of Sorsogon.
Since her MYX VJ stint ended in 2007, Heart has added visual artist, fashion designer and vlogger to her resume. She has remained supportive of the #1 music channel and graced various events including the MYX VJs' homecoming in 2015 and the MYX Music Awards 2018.
