MNL48 Member Set To Star In Live-Action Remake Of Japanese Manga

MNL48 is thriving not just in the local music scene, but abroad, too! In fact, member Abby Trinidad was chosen as the lead star of the upcoming live-action adaptation of a Japanese manga titled Seikimatsu Blue, as reported by ABS-CBN News on Thursday (May 30).

Japanese director Tetsuya Hashi—who previously worked with the girls on "Talulot ng Sakura" music video—will helm the project. Furthermore, the film will be an entry in an independent film festival in the Philippines.

Filming on Seikimatsu Blue begins in June.
