GUNS N' ROSES To Work On New Album This Year, Says SLASH
Legendary guitarist Slash gave out the news rock fans all over the globe have been praying for. Guns N' Roses is set to release new material later this year!
Speaking with 101 WRIF, Slash confirmed that the band is now working on new material after being inactive for over a decade. "The thing is, we hadn’t really done anything yet, and I don’t like to say anything. You know how people promote shit and lie through their teeth? So I just wanted to be honest, and there was no telling what we were going to do at that point. But at this point, I do know we are going to do this one, and we’ve already started working on stuff. There you go."
"When we finish the tour in the fall, then we will commence working on [what] will end up being the next Guns record," Slash concluded.
GnR's previous studio release was 2008's Chinese Democracy. It's hard to believe it's been that long since their last record and boy, we're so excited for the new one!
