DAYA Gushes Over ARIANA GRANDE: "Who Doesn't Want To Collaborate With Her?"

ICYMI, Daya returned to the Philippines for an epic and intimate promo show at The Palace last May 10! Our very own VJ Ai got to sit down with the "Don't Let Me Down" singer for a one-on-one MYXclusive interview!
During the chat, Daya revealed that she'll finally be coming out with a new album real soon following her short break from the music scene. She also went on to thank her first ever collaborators, The Chainsmokers, for taking a chance on her. Their collab won the 2017 Grammy for Best Dance Recording winner so Andrew and Alex might also be very grateful to her for that.
Of course, we have to ask Daya who she wants to work with in the future. Her answer? Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, and Ariana Grande!
"I love Rosalía, her take on kind of bringing flamenco to life but in her own way. And I feel like it's really unconventional and new and feels really real to her and I appreciate that," Daya said about the Latin Grammy-winning singer who has already worked with J Balvin, James Blake, and Pharrell Williams.
She also proclaimed her love for Kendrick. "I've always loved all his stuff. Just an amazing artist of an amazing vision."
As for Ariana, Daya gushed, "I mean, who doesn't want to collaborate with her? Let's be real." Point taken.
