KEN CHAN & RITA DANIELA Exceed Expectations In First Major Concert Together
BoBrey is truly unstoppable! Ken Chan and Rita Daniela spread nothing but kilig vibes all over Music Museum during their first ever major concert, My Special Love: #BoBreyinCONCERT!
The talented pair, also known as "RitKen", truly exceeded fan expectation and proved that their chemistry goes beyond our TV screens. They also showed everyone that they're ready to conquer even greater heights.
The My Special Tatay stars kicked off the show in character, transforming back into their breakout roles "Boyet" and "Aubrey" and serenading everyone with their version of "Hanggang Kailan" by Orange & Lemons. (Fun fact: ex-OnL singer Mcoy Fundales directed the concert!)
Ken and Rita also showed off their singing chops during their emotional solo prod numbers. Ken, who's been very vocal about his lack of confidence when it comes to singing, said he's thankful that Rita was there to guide him every step of the way.
During our MYXclusive interview which was held a couple of weeks before the concert, the two guaranteed that they'll be pulling off surprise performances and they did just that. During one number, Rita unleashed Ken's inner dancer as they grooved and sang to Gary Valenciano's "Hataw Na". According to Ken, dancing isn't really part of his repertoire but he did pretty well, we gotta say.
Ken and Rita had nothing but gratitude to the people responsible for making their "experimental" tandem an unexpected hit. Now, the two will be gearing up for their next challenge – a series of shows in the US. They're also coming up with new music so you better watch out for that!
