'Avengers: Endgame' Becomes Most Tweeted About Movie Ever!
After 11 years and 22 Marvel movies, Avengers: Endgame marks the end of an era. Since its release, fans all around the world have been turning to social media, including Twitter to talk about the movie. In addition to setting records at the box office, Avengers: Endgame also became the most-tweeted about movie ever with more than 50 million tweets since the start of the year, of which nearly half came during the past week.
#AvengersEndgame concludes the Marvel Cinematic Universe' #InfinitySaga storyline, and the Marvel fandom have been flocking to Twitter to express their love and appreciation with the #ThankYouAvengers hashtag.
Interestingly, the Philippines has placed third in the list of countries that tweeted the most about the movie - falling behind only to the United States and Brazil. The movie was wildly tweeted-about in Asia Pacific as 5 of the top 10 markets come from the region. The list is as follows:
Avengers: Endgame already holds the greatest all-time box office record with of Php 1.25 billion in just eight days after its opening. The movie's opening day garnered a remarkable Php 205M and is expected to grow to over Php 937.5M over the next few days, making it the biggest Thursday, biggest Friday, and the biggest opening weekend of all-time as well.
Columbia Pictures Philippines shared the fantasic news about the movie’s all-time record achievement in the Philippines and looked forward to the upcoming Sony and Marvel Studios movie, SpiderMan: Far From Home this coming July.
