BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" Video Breaks Records!
Blackpink's music video for their comeback single is a bonafide sensation. "Kill This Love" racked up 10 million views on YouTube in just four hours and 13 minutes, making it the fastest K-pop music video to hit the mark. The quartet blew past BTS who previously held the record for their "Idol" video in August.
And with the visual racking up more views by the minute, it's possible that Blackpink can also surpass Ariana Grande's record of 55 million views in the first 24 hours since "thank u, next" debuted. As of writing, "Kill This Love" now has over 18 million views and 3 million likes on YouTube after more than eight hours since its release.
As if that wasn't enough, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa also made history as the first K-pop girl act to go no. 1 on the iTunes charts.
Brace yourself: There are more new music dropping later today a.k.a. more records to break.
