RUSSELL WESTBROOK Dedicates Historic Performance To Late Rapper NIPSEY HUSSLE
It's looks like NBA Star Russell Westbrook is among those devasted by the sudden death of American rapper Nipsey Hussle over the weekend.
The Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist was reportedly killed in gang related incident in Los Angeles where the rapper was reportedly shot six times outside his Marathon Clothing Company store.
In his recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Westbook got himself 20 points, 20 rebounds and 21 assists en route to becoming the second player in NBA history to achieve such a feat. The last one was in 1968 where NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain piled up 22 points, 25 rebounds and 21 assists.
"That's for Nipsey," the former NBA Most Valuable Player exclaimed after grabbing his 20th rebound during the game.
He echoed this sentiment again during his post-game interview saying that game "wasn't for him" but for his "bro".
