Three generations of OPM royalty reigned supreme at the Big Dome! The Aces concert was nothing short of spectacular so here are five things that really wowed us during this grand vocal showcase by Darren Espanto, Jona, and Lani Misalucha.

Royal Vibe

Aside from the impressive vocal prowess of the three headliners who kicked off the night with "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears, everything about The Aces concert was majestic: the costumes, stage design, and lighting.

World-Class Biritan

Darren’s performance of “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman, Jona’s version of “Without You” by Mariah Carey, and Lani’s own spin on “Let It Be” by The Beatles made their fans scream loudly.

Operatic Renditions

What can't they do?! The vocal powerhouses stepped up their game further by delivering a unique operatic take on Sampaguita’s rock anthem “Nosi Balasi”.

Hugot Hits

Aside from reaching the high notes, The Aces also hit us right in the feels. D Total Performer sang “Kathang Isip” by Ben&Ben, the Fearless Diva performed “Tagpuan” by Moira while the Asia’s Nightingale belted out “’Di Na Muli” by The Itchyworms. Together, they did a cover of “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig” by December Avenue.

Epic Finale

The Aces ended the concert strong with their own hits! Darren performed first with “Alam”, Jona stunned everyone with “Maghihintay Ako”, while Lani proved that she’s still at the top of her game with “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin”. Everyone got on their feet during their encore performance of “Shut Up And Dance”!

After conquering Cebu, Davao and Manila, The Aces will invade Canada later this year!
