5 Boybands We Want To See Back In The Spotlight!

2019 has brought us a resurgence of our all-time favorite boybands. Westlife and the Jonas Brothers have returned to the top of the MYX charts which only proves there will always be a place in our hearts for acts like them. And is it just us, or does it feel like the late '90s to early 2000s all over again?

That being said, we think now is the perfect time for these boy groups to make their presence known in the music scene once again.

*NSYNC. The five-piece group first captured the hearts of fans in 1996 with their self-titled debut album, spawning hits such as "I Want You Back", "Tearin' Up My Heart" and "Thinking Of You (I Drive Myself Crazy)". It was then followed by two record-breaking albums before they called it quits in 2002. They have since appeared in one-off reunions, most notably at the 2014 Grammys and during Justin Timberlake's guest appearance on Ellen last year, and it only left us wanting more!

O-Town. Formed via a reality show in 2000, the band comprised of members Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood and Dan Miller rocked fans with their debut hit "Liquid Dreams". Their popularity skyrocketed thanks to the heartbreaking anthem "All Or Nothing". As of today, the band is still pretty busy doing tours.

98 Degrees. Heating up the scene with hits like "Invisible Man" and "Because Of You", the four-piece band (composed of Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, Nick Lachey, and Drew Lachey) was a main fixture during the peak of the boyband craze.

First #tbt of 2019, figured we should make it a good one.

Blue. The "One Love" and "Best In Me" hitmakers were arguably the last premier boy group before the craze fizzled out during the mid 2000s. The UK group's most recent performance in the country was in February 2018.

One Direction. The boys of 1D started a whole new boyband craze almost 10 years ago! Fans have been waiting for their return ever since they announced their hiatus in 2016.
