TEDDY CORPUZ Clears The Air Regarding Recent Misunderstanding With JK LABAJO
Rocksteddy frontman Teddy Corpuz cleared the air regarding a recent misunderstanding with JK Labajo after the latter's controversial actions during his set at Rakrakan Festival 2019.
The "Buwan" hitmaker didn't take kindly to Teddy's comments about him swearing on stage during the event and posted about it via his Instagram story which has already been deleted.
In a recent guest appearance on Tonight With Boy Abunda to promote his film Papa Pogi, Teddy clarified the issue about his take on rock stars who make it a habit to swear during shows and said it wasn't particularly aimed at JK Labajo. "Nabasa ko na yung parang rant ni JK sa Instagram stories niya about me. Apparently, nabasa na niya yung comment ko, nag-message ako sa kanya sa Instagram," Teddy said.
The It's Showtime host also added that they have already spoken over the phone and had apologized to each other. "Kinuwento ko sa kanya kung ano yung sinabi ko. Nag-sorry nga siya sa'kin. Sabi niya, 'Kuya Ted, sandali. Tatawagan kita ulit ha? Buburahin ko lang yung mga pinost ko.'"
Teddy also shared what he learned after the entire fiasco. "If ever mayroon akong regret is siguro probably next time I won't comment na lang."
