MAROON 5's Red Pill Blues Tour In Manila Was Worth The Wait!

Posted at March 06, 2019

American pop rock band Maroon 5 left fans on a sugar high after their fourth concert in Manila last September 17, 2015. And since then, we've been wishing for their return.

Thank you people of Manila for your passion and enthusiasm for music. Always a bright spot on tour!!!

But the wait finally ended as the Grammy-winning band once again brought the house down during the Philippine leg of their Red Pill Blues Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Everyone in attendance couldn't hide their anticipation until frontman Adam Levine kicked off the show with "What Lovers Do" off their sixth studio album. This was followed by a series of chart-topping bops from "Payphone" to "Moves Like Jagger".

As the night drew to an end, the band did a cover of Alphaville's "Forever Young" before transitioning to their recent hit "Girls Like You".

Phones lit up the whole arena as Adam serenaded the audience with "Lost Stars" from his 2013 movie Begin Again. And sending the crowd on an epic nostalgic ride was the Maroon 5 classic "She Will Be Loved" which they dedicated to all the lovely ladies in the room.

It was a bittersweet ending as the band capped off the night with "Sugar" from their fifth studio album V. Until the next show!
