DAVID FOSTER Hits Golden Buzzer For Young Pinay at ‘Asia's Got Talent’
10-year old singer Eleana Gabunada is the second Filipino act to receive the golden buzzer for the latest edition of Asia's Got Talent.
With a solid rendition of a Broadway classic "Don't Rain On My Parade", Eleana received a standing ovation from the audience and from legendary songwriter David Foster. "There's a lot of people much older than you that could sing that song but they don't understand the genre, they don't know what they're supposed to be doing," the esteemed judge told the young performer.
He added, "But somehow at the age 10, you understand your mission and your job. And there's no doubt in my mind that if you want to be in Broadway one day, you will be."
With this, Eleana advances to the semifinals along with fellow Filipino act Shadow Ace. Watch her performance below.
Eleana is a former contestant of Tawag ng Tanghalan and The Voice Kids where she joined Lea Salonga's team.
