We Followed KODALINE's Fire As They Rocked Manila Anew!
When they said their last goodbye, fans died a little bit inside. But now, they have finally returned! Irish indie-pop sensation Kodaline rocked Manila anew during the Philippine leg of their Politics of Living tour at the New Frontier Theater.
Responsible for smash hits such as "The One," "High Hopes," and "All I Want," the group—comprised of members Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vincent May, and Jason Boland—marked their second time in the country. They previously played for the Wanderland Festival in 2018.
Diehard fans of the group flocked the concert venue in Cubao to witness the band's epic Manila comeback. And the lads did not disappoint as they dished out their well-known hits as well as a few cuts from their latest record.
Steve and crew started the night out by playing their third album's opening track "Follow Your Fire" and set the entire theater ablaze in an instant with their trademark pop and indie sound. The band played 16 songs in total.
And after all was said and done, a few lucky fans even got to take home memorabilia like guitar picks used by the members during the concert and the show's set list. Kodaline sure brought us an epic music experience and we're left wanting more! We can't wait for part three!
Kodaline will continue the Asian leg of their tour with shows in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.
