But you know what else got you hooked on this live-adaptation of Gerard Way's comic book series? The playlist.

It's hard not to think that the My Chemical Romance frontman had somehow influenced the choices in the show's soundtrack. And as a matter of fact, he did. In some ways. Gerard recorded songs—"One" and "Hazy Shade of Winter"—for the Netflix original series. And the effect was kinetic.

Lucky for us, Netflix did us a favor and compiled some of the songs from the show.

And for your reference, here's the rest of the songs that weren't included in the Spotify playlist. You're very welcome.

1. Lindsey Stirling, "Phantom of the Opera"

2. Fitz and the Tantrums, "The Walker"

3. Woodkid, "Run Boy Run"

4. Adam Ant, "Goody Two Shoes"

5. Paloma Faith, "Never Tear Us Apart"

6. The Yardbirds, "Lost Woman"

7. The Hollies, "We're Through"

8. Morcheeba, "Blood Like Lemonade"

9. Tom Swoon, "Shingaling"

10. David Gray, "This Year's Love"

11. Gerard Way, "One"
