Red Velvet absolutely did amazing during their recently completed first ever US tour!
In an interview with Billboard, the members expressed how surprised they were over their achievement and fans' passion out West. "We couldn’t have even imagined that we’d do the U.S. tour. But we’re here, and time flew by so fast. We were able to meet all our fans here in the States, and we’re taking a lot of energy and strength from meeting them," Seulgi said.
"Fans everywhere are energetic, but every country has a different response. In Korea, they have fan chants, a structure to the performance. But it’s a little different here, it’s almost a wild passion," she added.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful night in Toronto.✨💝 I missed home a lot and was excited to be back to a place that I can always relate back to. Being a member of red velvet and having endless support from our Reveluv are one of the greatest blessings that life has offered me.💙 Once again, thank you and hope to see you all soon! 🙏🥰💚💜💗💛💙 Bye Toronto👋 and Hello to VANCOUVER 🥳
But more than touring and entering American charts, the girls also want to collaborate with various non-Korean artists particularly Charlie Puth, Halsey and Ariana Grande for Yeri, John Mayer for Joy, and Billie Eilish for Seulgi. We believe all these deserve to happen.
Wendy previously worked with John Legend for SM Station X 0 project's "Written In The Stars".
