JOSH GROBAN Wows Everyone In "Bridges" Concert With LEA SALONGA
After 12 years, Josh Groban finally returned to the country for the Manila leg of his "Bridges" Tour and we can say for certain that it was an amazing show!
After performing his first two songs “Bigger Than Us” and “You Are Loved”, the American singer apologized for not coming back to the Philippines sooner and thanked everyone who attended his “post-Valentine” show at the MOA Arena.
"Thank you guys for making this so wonderful. We felt very welcome here, everybody’s been so wonderful,” he said before singing “Won’t Look Back”. The incredible vocalist also praised the Philippines for being home to many great singers.
Of course, one of the highlights of the concert was his duet with Ms. Lea Salonga. Josh warmly welcomed Lea onstage and sang “Happy Birthday” for the Pinoy performer who celebrated her 48th birthday that night!
“Last night was no exception, getting to sing with the fantastic Josh Groban, and having him sing Happy Birthday to me along with that MOA Arena audience. The best part was having family and friends by my side for much of the day until we said goodbye to the 22nd and hello to the 23rd. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. 48 is looking pretty good right now,” Lea posted online after the show.

Their duets of “All I Ask Of You” from The Phantom of the Opera and “The Prayer” were one for the books. Josh sat beside Lea who was on a wheelchair due to her recent skiing injury, but they completely nailed it. Every second was goosebumps-worthy!
Along with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and Ateneo Choir, Josh Groban also performed his hits “River”and “You Raise Me Up”!
His encore set included his very popular song “To Where You Are” as fans lit up the arena with their phones. Josh fittingly capped off his Bridges concert with his version of Simon & Garfunkel’s hit “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.
