AVRIL LAVIGNE Shuts Down (Yet Again) That Doppelgänger Conspiracy Theory

Avril Lavigne can't seem to escape that insane doppelgänger conspiracy theory. In November 2018, shortly after making her comeback, the Canadian hitmaker finally addressed the rumors which she obviously thought was "weird." And even after that, some were still convinced that what we're all seeing now is her clone Melissa Vandella.

So, again, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Avril put this death hoax to rest—hopefully for the last time. Here's what she said:

"More like that it’s just a dumb internet rumor and [I’m] flabbergasted that people bought into it. Isn’t that so weird? It’s so dumb. And I look the exact same. On one hand, everyone is like, 'Oh my god, you look the same,' and on the other hand people are like, 'Oh my god, she died.'"

There you have it, people. The bottom line is don't believe anything you see and read on the internet.
