Pinoy Rock Legend PEPE SMITH Passes Away At 71

OPM Rock legend Joey “Pepe” Smith has passed away as the tragic news was confirmed by his family and friends. He was 71.

This morning, VJ Sanya Smith posted a very touching photo of her hugging her father.

The Facebook page of Pepe’s iconic rock band, Juan De La Cruz, also shared a heartfelt message.

“Ang himig natin ang ipapabaon namin sa iyong paglalakbay. Padayon, Pepe Smith Official 🙏 Hanggang sa muling pagkikita sa rock n' roll heaven... salamat....”, the post stated. The band is responsible of notable Pinoy rock hits "Beep Beep," "Balong Malalim," "Titser's Enemy No. 1," "Himig Natin," "No Touch" and "Kahit Anong Mangyari."
