Ay-Oh! RAMI MALEK And 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Are 2019 Oscars Bound!
Just a few weeks removed from his epic Golden Globes win, Rami Malek now has his eyes set on yet another acting trophy!
Fans have been calling it for months after seeing Rami's incredible and spot-on portrayal of rock icon Freddie Mercury in the musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and now it's all a reality. The Mr. Robot star has picked up a Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination in the upcoming 91st Academy Awards!
And it doesn't stop there. The film, depicting the meteoric rise of Queen and Mr. Fahrenheit himself, also scored four more nominations including Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Picture.
Gwilym Lee and Ben Hardy, who played Brian May and Roger Taylor in the film respectively, shared their excitement over the Oscars announcement on social media.
